Roubai (Japanese allspice) 蝋梅

The photo is Roubai in my parents' home.

Because of few flowers are blooming at this cold season,
This Roubai is conspicuous everywhere.

Rou（蝋）means wax, and Bai（梅)is Japanese apricot.

Those petals are waxy and trancelucent so that we call them RouBai.
People say the scent is sweet and good; however, I don’t think so; too powerful for me.
